Siren by Robert Wiedmaier

Michelin Star restaurant, Siren, named for those bewitching nymphs of the deep, anchors the ground level of The Darcy. Serving the freshest fish from the world’s waterways, it takes diners on an odyssey of timeless flavor. Overseeing Siren’s kitchen are chefs Robert Wiedmaier and Brian McBride, whose restaurants in and around Washington, DC, exemplify the distinctive style that has earned them accolades worldwide. The seasonal menu is dictated by fisherman and farmer alike. Alluring yet unfussy, each dish finds its mate on the comprehensive list of cocktails, wines, and beers.

Siren’s brass-trimmed interior has the appeal of a captain’s quarters, with dark, handsome millwork, deep red accents, and splashes of oceanic blue. Folkloric yet edgy depictions of mermaids, as well as tattoo designs from bygone sailing cultures, enliven the space. Often, in the evenings, the strains of live jazz are as seductive as the Siren’s song.

Whether you join us for the epicurean experience or the lively gathering of locals and travelers, we welcome you to one of the newest Robert Wiedmaier restaurants near Dupont Circle.
